The mission is simple.
With joy comes peace. Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, and when we find joy, it is infused with comfort and wrapped in peace. True joy comes when we have a strong intimate relationship with Christ. It is knowing that God is in control and that ultimately everything is going to be alright. It’s discovering His purpose for you. It’s seeing Him in the ordinary and the simple. We want to help spread that joy because joy multiplies!
Jesus commands us to love one another as He loves us - John 15:12. We can experience God’s joy when we love our neighbors. Let's remember what love is...
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. 1 Corinthians 13
Galatians 6:2 - tells us to bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Hebrews 13:16 - tells us not to neglect doing good and to share what we have because such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Philippians 2:3-4 - tells us not to do anything out of selfish ambition or to give us something to brag about. Rather we should humbly regard others as more important than ourselves and to look out for one another’s interests, not just our own.
God tells us that when we turn back to Him with all our hearts and with all our soul and do what is right before Him, then He will turn to us and will hide his face from us no longer. We need to consider what He has done for us, and give thanks with full voice. Tobit 13:6
God is always with us. He loves us. We should delight in the Lord and He will give us the desires of our heart. Psalm 37:4.
He wants us to get to know Him, to spend time with Him, to take an interest in Him, to think about Him, to talk about Him, to PRIORITIZE a relationship with Him. He wants us to put Him FIRST.
He wants us to look forward to being with Him in His eternal Glory.
Sadly, the world has seemingly forgotten about God. He has been replaced with self-righteousness, pride, divisiveness and our own egocentrism. The consequences are a lack of compromise, lack of empathy, unkindness, selfishness and unhappiness.
It’s time to pause and remember what our true mission is and where it will lead us. Help us Spread His JOY and build his Kingdom. Let's remind the world to give Him THANKS so that we may live in PEACE. Let's help turn some hearts!
